R.H. Folkman and Walter Fredricks founded the Acratod Company in Houston, Texas.  In August of 1976, Becky and Craig Folkman moved to Austin to open a branch office for the Acratod Company.  Four years later, in September 1980, a 25 county area was transferred from the Acratod Company and a new corporation called Acratod of Austin, Inc. was formed.

The Acratod Company and now Acratod of Austin, Inc. have represented a large number of manufacturers both as dealers and also as independent sales representatives.  We represent Tab Products Company, our primary manufacturer.  Due to our unique relationship with TAB, we act both as a dealer and a sales representative.
